WHEN YOU PURCHASE AN MP3 through our KAGI distributor,
you will download a ZIPPED folder of the MP3s which should have a ".zip" on the end of the folder name.
You download a ZIPPED folder that has the files in it.
The file / folder that you downloaded should have a ".zip" at the end of the file / folder name. That way your computer recognizes it as a zip file / folder and then you can expand that zipped file / folder. However, if the file / folder you downloaded does not have a .zip at the end of the file / folder name, your computer will NOT recognize it as a zip file / folder. SO, you must THEN TYPE a .zip onto the last part of the file / folder name yourself. Once you type the .zip onto the last part of the file / folder name, you will be able to expand that zip file / folder.
On many windows computers, to "unzip" a zipped folder you first left click on the folder to highlight it, then right-click on it to bring up a little menu of what to do with the folder. On my computer, it says "Extract All" which I select that in that little menu and an Extraction Window open to select a folder on my computer to load the extracted files into.
I would first make a Folder called "Downloaded Files" on a hard disc on your computer before Extracting the folder and then Left-Click on the Zipped Folder to highlight it. Right-click on the highlighted folder and then select the "Extract All" menu selection. The Extract window pops up. In that Extract window, I would click on the browse button and browse in my computer to the new Downloaded Files folder I just made and click OK to select that to Extract all of the files into. I then would click on the "EXTRACT" button and it extracts all of the files from that zipped folder into the new folder that I made.
UNZIP the ZIP FOLDER
When you download our ZIP folder of MP3s . . .
Unzip the ZIP folder first on your computer. Then you will see the MP3 files inside the folder.
Make sure the folder you downloaded has the .zip on the end of the folder name - which identifies it as a zipped folder. If it doesn't, type the .zip on the end of the folder name so your computer will recognize it as a zipped folder.
Right-click on the zip folder and choose from the little menu that pops up from your pointer - choose "Extract All ..." (this is what it has on my computer - Windows 7) and then your computer UNZIPs the folder to a regular folder and it has the MP3s in the regular folder.
How you get MP3s into your playing device is handled by other ways - it probably shows you how in the instructions of your little MP3 listening device.
NOTE:
When you download KITS or MP3 albums, you will download ZIPPED FOLDERS. You are often not downloading individual MP3 files, but zipped folders that have many MP3s inside the folder.
So, if the files/folders do not have a ".zip" on the end of the ZIP folder names that you downloaded, type the ".zip" onto the end of the zip folder name. The folder may then take on the Folder shape with a zipper on it - the Zipped Folder folder image. Also make sure to put a period or dot in front of the zip on the end of he folder name ".zip"
Then, RIGHT CLICK on the 02AVORTEX_A.zip (whatever the zipped folder name is) zipped folder and select the EXTRACT type of menu selection that extracts the contents from a zipped folder. On my computer is has "Extract All ..." as the menu selection that unzips the folder.
Select the place where you want that folder on your hard drive.
Click the EXTRACT button at the bottom of the Extract Dialog to Extract the contents of the Zipped Folder. Inside the the new folder there will be MP3 files for you to play.
Right click on the MP3s and they will play upon any MP3 player you have on your computer.
Please follow these instructions to retrieve the MP3 from the URL.
To download the MP3 from the URLs that you have:
1. - Open the Internet Browser on the computer you are using such as "Internet Explorer"
2. - Go to the email that has the URL for the MP3 download on it
Note: for example - from below - 04 Magic Vortal which is on the the download URL http://ws.audiolife.com/download.asx
(Copy and paste this download URL into the top URL place that is at the top of Internet Explorer - click your curser at the very end of the Download URL you pasted into the top place in Internet Explorer where the curser is simply blinking there (nothing is highlishted) and then hit the "Enter" button on the computer to make Internet Explorer asctually go to that Download URL place)
3. - You should see the MP3 download button on that page - count how many download buttons there are for you will have to do the following for each MP3 download button separately - so you will do this download procedure for each MP3 download button.
4. - Choose the MP3 download button you are going to start with and Press the download button to start downloading the MP3 onto the computer you are using
5. - A little window comes up to download the MP3 and press the "Browse" button to find the Hard Drive on the computer you are using - browse to the place on the Hard Drive on the computer you are using where you want to save the MP3 to.
6. Click on OK or SAVE to start the saving process - it may take a while to download the file - even up to 10 minutes sometimes.
7. When that is finished, go back to the Download URL internet Page that you first went to above and choose the next Download MP3 button to Press and download
8. - Choose the MP3 download button you are going to start with and Press the download button to start downloading the MP3 onto the computer you are using
9. - A little window comes up to download the MP3 and press the "Browse" button to find the Hard Drive on the computer you are using - browse to the place on the Hard Drive on the computer you are using where you want to save the MP3 to.
10. Click on OK or SAVE to start the saving process - it may take a while to download the file - even up to 10 minutes sometimes.
11. When that is finished, go back to the Download URL internet Page that you first went to above and choose the next Download MP3 button to Press and download
